Hearts, hearts, and more hearts just in time for Valentine's; I lampworked the heart from Italian glass accented it with sterling silver and strung it on luxurious silk cord. $75. Hope you ♥ !

I lampworked this funky heart from Italian glass starting with a transparent uneven tube shaped purple bead in the interior. Then I encase this purple bead with clear glass, layering it on until I got the desired amount of encasement; it gets quite heavy at this point. Then the fun part; shaping the heart which I sculpted and melted into shape with the help of gravity and lampworking tools. Finally once I reached the desired shape, it's popped in the kiln to begin the annealing process which takes several hours. After that, Voila! I have a wonderful heart that I thread onto a sterling silver head pin, accent with matte black beads and string onto a luxurious silk cord. This necklace can be made in virtually any colour. Other colours remaining in stock include ultramarine blue, amber, deep red and green. $75
